Solorzano Family
The history of the Solórzano Family is deeply rooted in the mountains of Ocobamba, Cusco , Peru. The brothers Marco, Neto and Iván Solórzano, third generation coffee growers, have inherited a rich tradition of growing high quality coffee. The La Margarita Coffee Reserve project is a catalyst for economic and social development in the region , providing education and resources to neighboring coffee farmers.
Flower Family
In 2018, with the support of his family, David founded Finca El Morito, a 35-hectare space that has grown and works alongside 100 family producers, all committed to sustainability . The farm uses techniques such as anaerobic fermentation and controlled drying to ensure superior quality coffee.
Cortez Family
David Cortez, the patriarch, was born and raised on the farm that belonged to his parents, growing coffee from a young age. Over time, his sons Edwin and Dilmer, after leaving to study, returned to the farm with the passion and desire to work specialty coffee, transforming Finca La Esmeralda into a benchmark of quality and dedication.
Marin Arce Family
Patriarch Dagoberto Marín decided to change the focus of agriculture on his farm. Influenced by biodynamic agriculture, Dagoberto was looking for a way to farm that was fair, healthy and in harmony with nature. This decision led them to adopt agricultural practices that regenerate the soil and protect the environment.
Along with his sons Hector, Cesar, Edu and Nelly, he works tirelessly to maintain the integrity of the farm and continually improve the quality of his coffee.
Reyes Horna Family
In the mountains and valleys of Huaranchal in Peru, Nashita and Don Claudia have their specialty coffee farm. The adventure of the Reyes Horna Family began thanks to Carlos, a Lima roaster who learned about the farm and saw the potential of its coffee plantations. Through the Otuzco Project he collaborated with the family, providing education and resources to transform their lives and their coffee.
Marín Ciriaco Family
85 years of tradition at Finca Ave Fénix, a family legacy located in Oxapampa, Peru.
Sadler Marín and Narda Ciriaco, both second generation coffee growers, inherited from their parents not only the land, but also a deep passion for coffee cultivation, which they were able to pass on to their son Jimmy, national taster and winner of the best coffee in Peru 2020.
